Business Babble Royston was established in 2013 by Jayne Bratton to support women who were running, or thinking of starting, their own small businesses. Jayne began the group when she was a sole-trader working from home as she felt the need for peer company and support. Membership has grown steadily from 20 to well over 700 online with regular monthly meet-ups in Royston and Hitchin. Due to the passion and enthusiasm of its members, Business Babble made it to the finals of the FSB Networking Awards in 2015 and we are thrilled to have been nominated again this year for Networking Group of the Year for the SME Hertfordshire Business Awards (formerly the FSB Awards).

Business Babble has a strong sense of peer support, coaching and training which has been there from the start and is what makes it unique. Babblers join for female company, for ideas, to keep them focused and to have access to excellent training. To ensure it is Mum-friendly all the courses and meetings are set around school hours and avoid school holidays where possible.

In 2014 Business Babble Hitchin was launched with long term Babbler and business woman Claire Humphries taking the helm. This second Babble Group supports the ongoing aim to offer flexible, local, affordable support and training for members. Business Babble has also been asked by a local council to run a group in Cambridge and this will launch later this year.

Business Babble membership offers monthly meetups in your local area plus access to a fantastic range of affordable Babble Training courses, including topics such as; how to set up and design your own website, running a successful company and business accounts. Our passion is to support our members by delivering affordable and friendly training sessions to assist in developing their business.
